a banksy to be found on the back of a stall along tottenham court road; and a telling commentary on the state of the nations children.

Interesting shot, I am not really a fan of taking shots of gtrafiti, but that said, I would have tidied up the cardboard at the bottom of the shot, I fact the floor is not neccessary in this shot.

The subject is really nice (even though graffiti is "bad" :p). But like suby I agree to say that the floor isn't necessary.

@Cyrille: thanks Suby and Cyrille: i left the cardboard there because i almost got the idea that the artist had put it there to prevent a mess on the pavement - a nice act for a grafitti artist!
The ground actually give it some base I feel. Somewhere for the kid to walk. Normally probably no floor would be good but in this shot it works. Good job.

I love this stuff. Im almost tempted to go on the banksy sightseeing tour, when the next one runs. Just to join in the fray, the floor gives context, and the cardboard adds detail, otherwise youre just recording someone elses work - and wheres the fun in that

I agree, I believe the cardboard is part of the painting. The child has the typical 'I have no idea what you're talking' about guilty look.

A fine specimen of graffiti with eye-catching color. I too think the cardboard is part of the painting. Nice one.

I'm with Pete on this. Anyway, it's a startling image and well-captured.

Nice graffiti. the kid's face feels angry and agressiveness. He doesn't like to be dusturbed. LoL love the cardboard on the pavement preventing a mess. very funny.

Good catch with the camera. I am at a point that I would not be surprised if you announced a third site. I love it

I really like this new blog of yours. "WHAT?" basically sums up the state of my mind all the time... I can relate :).

I rather like the inclusion of the sidewalk and the debris; it gives us a sense of location and reality which is important in this type of image.
