lowndes park was once the private property of the family who pretty well ruled the roost in chesham. it wasn't until the 1950's that it was "given" to the town and took the form we see today, the largest open space in the town.
I'm happy to have a walk in your home town. I imagine you and Sue sitting on a bench and watching the ducks you posted yesterday. Very quiet place.

Such a lovely location!! The old willow standing next to the water would be a great place to sit on a summer afternoon.

I love willow trees.Someone took down tree of them quit recently close to where I live and I am heartbroken.
